It’s Valentine’s Day. Love is in the air (for some of you). Right? RIGHT?

Last week, I gave you the first piece of art in my Golden Ratio series (recap: I’m releasing artwork inspired by and/or consisting of the Golden Ratio…self explanatory enough, no?)

This week, I’m continuing that series with pieces inspired by Love in commemoration of Valentine’s Day (Singles Awareness Day).

Annnnnnnnnd, what the heck…a poem penned by me…:
 
Unexpressed love he has for her
His heart is so demanding
How does one touch a woman’s soul
…with little understanding?
The moments they share, he yearns for more
Each moment, his presence in her eyes
He limits himself of her gentle touch
From her warm embrace he shies
Though day by day he longs for her return
Each day his love renewed
And in her absence he’s swept up by daydreams
Of a union of the two
Her smile which beams reflections in his eyes
Touch him with utter bliss
But when she leaned close and took his hand
He failed to steal the kiss.
